Introduction
GPS can save Simulation files to the local user’s Documents directory. The saved Simulation file can then be accessed to update, evaluate, and send to other GPS users. To save a GPS file, follow the steps below.
Step 1. Click on the File Menu. The Menu Bar File Menu Item allows File services such as Open and Save. We will use the “Save” option. Note that using Control-Shift-S is a quick way to begin the File Save process:

Step 2. Click on Save. When Save is selected, the File Save menu will appear. The default name will appear and the .csv file type will be selected. The default name includes todays date to distinguish the file from others in the directory:

Step 3. Accept the File Name or Enter a New Name. Select Save to accept the default name or enter a new name, as shown below:

Comma separated values can be modified using standard spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
User Simulation Files are small – typically 10-20 KB and can easily be attached to e-mails.
