The dry matter intake chart is located in the left center part of the screen, as we see here. It’s a subset of the data presented in more complete form here, on the right in the larger growth and performance chart. The x-axis for the dry matter intake chart is the days of age, and we see every 2 weeks, we have data and the y-axis is the dry matter intake on a dry matter basis, of course, in kilos per day.


We have three categories or series: the forage intake is shown in dark blue here, the grain intake is in the darker green, and the liquid intake, milk, and milk replacer are shown here in lighter blue. One feature of this chart is, in fact all the charts in GPS, is the ability to capture the data. If I leftclick on the graph you’ll see a a short red flash —

That tells me that I’ve copied the data to the clipboard, and you can see the the the the data are shown here. Liquid grain and forage intakes. Now if I right click on the chart you see a green flash, and that gives me the the the actual picture of the of the dry matter intake. Well that’s it for this video, thanks for watching.
